Is Tesla paint really thinner than other brands?+
In our experience, yes. Tesla paint chips and scratches more easily than most German and Japanese brands, which is why PPF is the first thing most Tesla owners do after delivery. It's also why we recommend covering the rocker panels and rear arch edges on a Model 3 and Y, not just the front end.
Will the film interfere with Autopilot cameras or sensors?+
No. Our Tesla patterns are cut around every camera, ultrasonic sensor and radar zone, and we mask them during install. Nothing the car uses to see is covered.
How much does Tesla PPF cost in Scottsdale?+
It depends on the model and how much of the car you cover. A Model 3 front end and a full-body Model X are very different jobs. Send us the model, year and color and we reply with one exact written number.
Can you film a Cybertruck?+
Yes. Bare stainless shows fingerprints, road rash and fine scratches quickly. Clear or satin film over the stainless stops that, and Color PPF gives it a finish Tesla never offered.
My Tesla was delivered with chips already. Can you still film it?+
Usually, yes. Film seals in whatever is underneath, so we'll touch up or recommend a touch-up on existing chips first, then install over clean paint. We'll tell you honestly what's worth doing.
How long does it take?+
A front-end package is typically 1 to 2 days; full body is usually 3 to 5. If you're adding tint or Color PPF in the same visit, we'll give you one combined timeline.
