Every painted panel
For new luxury, performance and family vehicles, dark or matte paint, and anything you plan to keep.
Price depends on vehicle size, body lines and paint condition. Trucks, SUVs and wide-body cars use more film and more labor than a sedan — rocker panels and the rear bumper loading edge are the most common truck add-ons. We quote your car, in writing, before we schedule.
Add 110°+ panel temperatures and unprotected clear coat chalks and fades fast. Apterix film is UV-stable and built for hot climates — it takes the sun instead of your paint.
A wall of dust rolling in off the farmland at 40 mph is sandblasting. It micro-scratches every leading edge. Self-healing film flows back smooth in the next day's sun.
Construction traffic and gravel trucks feeding the growth in Surprise, Goodyear and Buckeye, every day at highway speed. PPF is a sacrificial layer that takes the chips so the factory paint never does.
The film
Apterix is our own paint protection film, installed exclusively by Supreme Wraps locations and select partner installers. There's no third-party brand to hide behind — if the film or the install isn't right, that's on us, and we fix it.
The install
Most of the time on your car goes into prep, not application. That's where a 15-year film either earns it or doesn't.

It depends on how much of the car you cover and the vehicle itself. Front-end coverage includes the hood, fenders, front bumper, mirror caps, headlights and fog lights. Full-body coverage includes every exterior painted surface plus headlights and fog lights. Send us your year, make and model and we reply with an exact written price, not a range.
Quality film installed correctly does not. Apterix uses a UV-stable top coat designed for hot climates; yellowing was a problem with older, cheaper films that lacked proper UV inhibitors. Peeling is almost always an installation issue. Properly wrapped and sealed edges stay down through Arizona summers.
Every Apterix installation carries a 15-year warranty. Most major PPF brands warranty their film for 10 to 12 years; Apterix runs 15.
A front-end package is typically 1 to 2 days. Full-body coverage is usually 3 to 5 days depending on the vehicle. Most of the time goes into prep — full paint decontamination and wrapped panel edges — which is what makes film last.
They do different jobs. PPF is a physical polyurethane layer that stops rock chips, scratches and etching. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that makes washing easier and adds gloss but doesn't stop chips. Many West Valley customers do both: PPF on impact zones, ceramic on top.
Yes, as long as the paint is in good shape. We correct light swirls before installing; existing chips and deep scratches should be touched up first because the film seals in whatever is underneath. Bring it by and we'll tell you honestly what's worth protecting.
