Why Color PPF in Arizona
Vinyl wraps were designed for mild climates. Mesa isn't one.
It doesn't shrink or lift in the heat
Vinyl is a thin film with adhesive that softens above 110°. In the East Valley that means edges lifting and seams opening by year two. Color PPF is thick urethane engineered for exactly this climate.

The install
From color choice to driving it home

- 3Full paint decontamination and disassembly where it matters. Handles, badges and trim come off so edges are wrapped, not cut on the paint.
- 4Install, cure, inspect with you. A full color change is typically 3 to 5 days. You walk every panel before you leave.

Color PPF. Vinyl wraps tend to shrink, lift at edges and fade faster under sustained 110°+ surface temperatures. Color PPF is built on the same UV-stable urethane as clear film and is far more tolerant of an East Valley summer. It's the better choice if you want the color to look the same in year four as it did on day one.
Does it damage the paint when it's removed?+
No. Color PPF is removable, and the factory paint underneath has been protected the whole time. That's a big reason people choose it over a repaint: you can go back to stock for resale, or change colors again later.

How long does a full color change take?+

Yes. Accent work like a satin black hood, roof or mirror caps is common, and so is satin or matte clear PPF over your existing color if you want the finish change without a full color change.
