Color change in Dallas, TX · Read this before you wrap
Edges lift. Seams open. The color dulls. Every stone on the Tollway leaves a mark that stays. That's not a bad installer — it's what thin vinyl does through a Texas summer. APTERIX:CLR Color PPF gives you the same color change on thick, self-healing paint protection film built for heat and gravel. Get the honest comparison, then decide.
Tell us your year, make, model and the color you have in mind. We'll price both options honestly and show you samples on real panels.

The comparison nobody selling vinyl will give you
Vinyl wrap
APTERIX:CLR Color PPF
Yes, Color PPF costs more up front than vinyl. Over the years you own the car, it's usually the cheaper decision — one install instead of two, and factory paint that's still perfect at trade-in. We'll quote both if you want to compare.

Who should still pick vinyl
If you want a printed graphic, a commercial livery, or a color for one season before you sell, vinyl is the right tool and we install it. If you want a solid color or finish that will still look right in year four in this climate, and you want the paint protected underneath, Color PPF is the better answer. Either way, you'll get a straight recommendation — and samples in the sun, next to your car, before you decide.
For a solid color or finish change, yes. Vinyl wraps tend to shrink, lift at edges and fade faster under sustained summer heat. Color PPF is built on the same UV-stable urethane as clear paint protection film and is far more tolerant of a North Texas summer — and it stops the rock chips vinyl lets through.
More up front, less over time. Send us your year, make, model and the color you're considering and we'll give you exact written numbers for both so you can decide with real figures.
Yes. Color PPF is removable and the factory paint underneath has been protected the whole time, so you can return to stock for resale or change colors again later.
Typically 3 to 5 days depending on the vehicle. Much of that is prep and disassembly so edges can be wrapped rather than cut on the paint.
