What is covered

Two ways to cover your car, quoted in writing for your exact vehicle.

Both options are installed with Apterix paint protection film at Supreme Wraps East Valley, and the right one depends on how you drive, how long you plan to keep the car and how much of the paint you want protected.

Front End

Covers the area that takes most of the rock chips and road debris.

  • Full hood
  • Front bumper
  • Front fenders
  • Mirror covers
  • Headlights & fog lights

Your price depends on your vehicle, the coverage you choose and the finish, so we give you a written quote for your exact car rather than a number that changes at the counter. Trucks, SUVs and wide-body vehicles are quoted individually.

Why East Valley drivers put film on their paint

Constant sun exposure

Arizona sunlight is hard on clear coat over the years, and a UV-stable, self-healing film takes that exposure in place of your paint.

Road debris on the commute

Gravel and grit kicked up by traffic chip the hood, bumper and mirrors first, and PPF is built to absorb exactly those small impacts.

Everyday scratches and swirls

Parking lots, tight garages and frequent washing leave fine marks on bare paint, while the self-healing top coat lets light marks flow back smooth.

The film

Why Apterix

Apterix is the paint protection film we install at Supreme Wraps, and it comes in finishes that let you protect the paint without changing how the car looks, or change it on purpose.

  • ✓Self-healing top coat so light swirls and wash marks flow back smooth.
  • ✓UV-stable film made for hot, sunny climates.
  • ✓Stops rock chips and scratches on the panels you cover.
  • ✓Your finish, your call with APTERIX:PRO gloss or APTERIX:EVO matte.

The install

What actually makes film last

Most of the time on your car goes into preparation, and that preparation is what separates film that stays down from film that lifts.

  1. 1Written quote for your car. Send the year, make and model, or bring the car by the Mesa shop, and you get the coverage and the number in writing.
  2. 2Paint decontamination. Film bonds to clean paint, so the surface is prepped before anything goes on.
  3. 3Wrapped, sealed edges. Edges are tucked where possible so they stay down through washes and heat.
  4. 4Inspection with you. You see every panel before you leave.

How to compare PPF quotes, including ours

Get a quote from anyone you like, and ask these four questions so you are comparing the same thing.

  • ✓What film is it? Ours is Apterix, in gloss or matte.
  • ✓Exactly which panels are covered? Our quote lists the coverage so nothing is assumed.
  • ✓Are headlights and fog lights included? They are part of our Front End coverage.
  • ✓How are edges handled? Ask how they are finished and whether they are cut on the paint.

Questions East Valley drivers ask us about PPF

How much does paint protection film cost in Mesa?+

The price depends on your vehicle and on whether you choose front end or full vehicle coverage, so we give you a written quote for your exact car. Send us the year, make and model, or stop by the shop, and we will put the number and the coverage in writing.

What is the difference between Front End and Full Vehicle coverage?+

Front End covers the hood, front bumper, front fenders, mirror covers and headlights and fog lights, which is where most chips land. Full Vehicle covers every painted panel on the car.

Do you film trucks and SUVs?+

Yes, and trucks, SUVs and wide-body vehicles are quoted individually because the panel size and shape change the job.

Is PPF worth it in Arizona?+

For many drivers it is, because the film is UV-stable and made for hot climates, it stops rock chips and scratches on the panels it covers, and the self-healing top coat lets light swirls flow back smooth.

Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating?+

They do different jobs. PPF is a physical urethane layer that stops chips and scratches, while a ceramic coating adds a slick, chemical-resistant surface and does not stop impacts, so many owners put film on the front and look at other options for the rest.

Can you film a car that is not brand new?+

Yes, as long as the paint is in good shape. We look at the paint when you bring the car in and tell you what we find before we quote.
